We saw Persepolis today and I thought it was pretty wonderful. The tone and character of the graphic memoir was certainly well-transferred to the screen. The narrative may be a bit rambling for those who haven't seen the book; there isn't really a clean conclusion. Both the books and the movie are really worthwhile; if I was going to add this to my ranking of 2007 movies, it would be close to the top, and would probably be the movie I'd most readily recommend.
