This article, about 2007 plans for , Nashville, Tennessee bands*, reminded me of Cerys Matthews, formerly of Catatonia, who had that Mulder and Scully song. Which I think straddles the line between good and bad pop. Anyway, the youtube video is here.

Cerys Matthews is now solo, but her stuff doesn't get released in the U.S. Her website has four full length mp3s up, though.

*(For the record, Silver Jews are now considered a Nashville band, along with some curious others.)

Pitchfork claim to have an exclusive new Ted Leo mp3. I think this was actually on the KEXP podcast almost a year ago, but maybe it's a different version. In any case, get it here.
