I am trying to read several books.

I am trying to get my library school application together.

I am trying to not spend money.

I am doing all these things actively, I even try to write in the active voice, but often it ends up in the passive voice and then the grammar check may (or may not) alert me and I can retroactively correct the alignment of my intentions and actions.
