"...for myself, for my family, for my beloved company..."

I saw marthastewart on tv explaining who was shamed by her prison sentence. Her comments seem about right.

This week I have done some things.

Last night I saw Smoke on vhs tape. I purchased the movies written by Paul Auster used a short while ago and now will try to watch them. I thought Smoke was good--it's talky, but I expected so much.

The night before that I saw Mystic River on vhs tape. This was well made, but not very uplifting. There are a lot of things in this movie that could be taken as emblematic of major flaws in our modern society.

The night before that was rainy, but we tried to see Joanna Newsom. She plays the harp but her voice was far too hobbit, and the storminess caused the whole attempt to be abandoned.

The night before that we saw Fountains of Wayne, because it was free. The bankers really like these guys.
