I was tired all day from the extensive 4 day weekend -of-fun, which was concluded with the Mountain Goats/Bowerbirds show.

The show totally lived up to my high expectations. I've really enjoyed the Bowerbirds recordings, to the extend that I was a little worried that I wouldn't like them for some reason when I saw the band. Worries were proved wrong...the songs were great, the performance good, the players seemed nice and not annoying.

The Mountain Goats set was a nice between albums mix of things, with typically great banter. I haven't been to a show in which people have been so quiet for extended moments.....
