Darren Hayman of Hefner offers five things to listen to, along with an explanation of his listening habits:

I find it easy to like tunes that other people haven’t heard of. In some ways it almost defines my taste. I don’t really see the point in owning music that you are likely to hear every day on the radio or TV or in a shop.

know it’s elitist and snobbish to go to extreme lengths to listen to music that no body else knows, but I’m really surprised that more people don’t do it.
