What is up with this, Chabon?
I "get" the stylized packaging thing that has accompanied recent Chabon books, but this spine just seems like too much to me. Do we really need to know of the Pulitzer Prize win again? Shouldn't the title of this new book be the focus of this spine, rather than Kavalier and Clay? Does Chabon care that his name will disappear from the spine when this book is processed for most libraries?

And I'm commenting on this because it's the spine of the book jacket, not the cover. If Harper Collins/Chabon want to make the title hard to read, well, OK with me.
