Things done in the city of wild onions

Melted on a river tour of the city's architecture. Good tour to recognize things from the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot cover.

Melted in Millenium Park.

Went to the Museum of Contemporary Art (Free on Tuesdays) and saw some neat stuff.

Featured exhibits were Wolfgang Tilmins, Chris Ware, Catherine Opie and a drawing thing.

I enjoyed this Deb Solokow piece: Someone tell Mayor Daley, the pirates are coming

Looked in at the Oriental Institute for a few minutes.

Ordered some Chica-gos delivery pizza which was satisfying but not necessarily good.

Ate some deep dish.

We also ate at Soul Vegetarian Restaurant East, where I enjoyed a special dinner special. It's part of an interesting chain, with locations in the U.S., Israel, Ghana and Caribbean. Sponsored by the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem.

One night we had some ice cream at Margie's Candies.

Didn't see quite as much as I did the last time, but saw some good people and that was worthwhile.
