Elvis Costello in a Tux

Last night we saw Elvis Costello play with the Brooklyn Philharmonic at BAM. First the orchestra played Costello's Il Sogno and then EC came out and played with the orchestra. This included not so recognizable versions of Allison, Veronica and Watching the Detectives and a lot of the recent ballad-y stuff that I have not been exposed to. I thought EC sounded good and he is a good MC for this kind of show, very personable and an enjoyable show. It makes me really consider paying the big ticket price and seeing him when he comes around with the impostors again.
