This was Joe Pernice introducing a new song called (I think) "Sell your hair".
Last night it was a good show at the Mercury Lounge. Joe played songs from all his projects including Scud Mountain Boys, Chappaquidick Skyline, his solo work and the upcoming Pernice Brothers album. The new songs sounded signficantly less pop than the Pernice Brothers previous records, but this is quite possibly a function of the fact that he was playing solo. I think this would have been a more interesting show to release as a live album than the cd the band put out last year, but oh well.
