Last night I saw Antibalas Afrobeat Orchrestra at Tonic. Early on they announced that they would be performing an "educational program", meaning that the first set would consist of all Fela songs.
The set itself was an impressive program. I enjoyed myself inside as much as I enjoyed Antibalas outside last summer. I am excited that they will be playing Celebrate Brooklyn this summer. You should come.
